Dr. V. N. Kala , Director, G.B.P.I.E.T., Pauri Garhwal, is a Professor of Applied Sciences and Humanities Department and has served as Registrar, at GBPIET, Pauri Garhwal. 

He has worked in different administrative capacities such as Director, Head of the department, Registrar,  etc. He has been a member of various committees at the Institute and University level such as Academic Council, Central Purchase Committee, Board of Studies, and Examination Committee.

Dr. V. N. Kala researches in the area of Differential Geometry. He has successfully supervised many numbers of research scholars and is currently guiding 1 research scholars. He has authored over 19 papers and articles in international journals, and 03 books in mathematics with renowned publishers.
